Micro shorts at Cannes: "Escape" and "Basement"

Two of my micro short films that I made for my cinematography class were nominated at the Cannes Shorts Festival. "Basement" was nominated for best horror and "Escape" was nominated for best cinematography. They were both shot on the RED camera and were fun to make. "Escape" was focused more on how camerawork can influence and tell the story. "Basement" was more of a color experiment and how lighting influences story and the tone of a film.
